Canadian country artist Jessica Sevier discusses her new single ‘Legends of the Summer’

Emerging Canadian country artist Jessica Sevier is making waves in the music industry with the release of her new single, “Legends of the Summer.” The track, which hit all major streaming platforms on May 19th, is a nostalgic country-rock tune that captures the essence of summer and reflects on the memories of past relationships.

“Legends of the Summer” was produced by the talented Matt Koebel and written by renowned songwriters Emma Lee, Karen Kosowski, Jessica Cayne, and Maddie Walker. Jessica Sevier, who hails from Toronto, describes the song as a reflection of the wild teenage love and carefree summers experienced without boundaries or consequences.

“I think our first loves are always stuck in the back of our mind forever. We might look back and think of how legendary we felt in those times, being on top of the world in stupid mixed up teenage romance,” Jessica shared.

To discuss her new release and delve into her music career, Jessica Sevier sat down with SWOMP’s Dana Haggith for an interview.
