Here are some more details about the band:

Reviving the sound of early-2000s nu metal, West Palm Beach, Florida quartet Afterlife bring raw emotion and aggression to their brand of hybrid metal inspired by bands like Slipknot and Linkin Park.

Formed in the summer of 2015 by former members of Every Passing Dream, Afterlife took that band’s metalcore spirit and layered it with crunching riffs, down-tuned guitars, programming flourishes, and a combination of rapping and singing.

The group comprises vocalist Tyler Levenson, guitarist Andrew McGuire, bassist Sinin Ables, and drummer Luke Walkinshaw.

At the end of 2016, they signed with Stay Sick Recordings and issued their debut EP, Vicious Cycle, in early 2017.

Produced by Zach Jones, Vicious Cycle debuted in the Top 15 of Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and featured the single “Pain and Pleasure.”

In 2018, Afterlife signed to Hopeless Records and began work on their debut full-length album.

Slated for release in January 2019, Breaking Point was preceded by the brutal yet catchy singles “Sacrifice” and “Throat.” ~ Neil Z. Yeung
