Turnstile flies high at Louder Than Life 2023

Baltimore, Maryland hardcore rockers Turnstile were the first headlining act on the fourth and final day of the 2023 Louder Than Life Music Festival

The Grammy-nominated band performed on the Space Zebra Stage on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Toward the end of their set Brendan Yates, lead vocalist for the band, encouraged the crowd to put their loved ones on their shoulders and get closer to them on stage.

“We want to see you,” Yates told the crowd.

“We need you. Everybody, get up here.”

Formed in 2010, Turnstile are known for churning hardcore punk that upends stereotypes.

As on 2021’s critically acclaimed GLOW ON, which features periodic synthesizer accents and made them the rare hardcore band to hit the late-night talk- show circuit.
