The Glorious Sons & The Blue Stones rock Budweiser Gardens

Hailing from Kingston, Ontario, The Glorious Sons rocked Budweiser Gardens during their stop in London, Ontario on Saturday, December 3, 2023.

The band is on tour in support of their latest album Glory, the fourth album the have released since forming in 2011.

The Blue Stones kicked off the night at Budweiser Gardens.

The Canadian blues-rock duo were a perfect fit for this tour.

They got the crowd moving and singing with their set which was full of songs from their album Pretty Monster, which was released in 2022, along with songs off their albums Hidden Gems and Black Holes.

The energy in the arena exploded as The Glorious Sons took the stage.

The band captures the essence of modern rock with their sound, which is often described as alternative-rock, blues based to early southern rock.

The Glorious Sons had the crowd singing along to songs ‘Mercy Mercy’, ‘Dream’ and ‘Speed of Light’ off their newest album.

Lead singer Brett Emmons worked the stage all night with his high energy, causing no delay in the audience as they continued to sing with him as the band played a great mix of old a new songs like ‘Lightning’ off their 2015 album titled Union and ‘Pink Motel’ off their 2019 album A War On Everything.

The bands performance was exceptional, not missing the mark and keeping the crowd highly entertained throughout their set.

Nearing the end of the night, the arena erupted with excitement when drummer Adam Paquette began the intro of their hit ‘S.O.S (Sawed off Shotgun)’ from their 2017 album Young Beauties and Fools.

The Glorious Sons Glory tour began September 6 and spans 57 cities, culminating in a hometown New Year’s Eve extravaganza at Kingston’s Leon’s Centre.

With plenty of Canadian dates left, this is one performance you don’t want to miss out on.
