Let’s talk… about TALK.

The singer-songwriter from Ottawa and recent JUNO Award winner, rocked London Music Hall on his stop in London, Ontario during the Canadian Tour for his debut album ‘Lord of the Flies & Birds & Bees’.

Walking into the packed venue, you can easily see that the rising indie-rock artist has fans from seven-years-old, right through 70. Fans had posters, bracelets, signs, unique outfits and of course – Crocs.

Opening up the show was singer-songwriter Paelser.

Paesler was accompanied on stage by guitarist Connor Riddle – who returned to the stage later in the evening.

Paelser serenaded the audience with her powerful lyrics and soft melodies.

It was a perfect balance to get the fans engaged and ready for what’s to come.

TALK graced the stage with his undeniable energy, wearing his signature jumpsuit and Crocs.

Getting right into his set with ‘Fall for You’, fans were captivated by his powerful voice and singing right along.

It’s definitely no surprise he won ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ at this year’s JUNO Awards.

Performing tracks ‘A Little Bit Happy’ and ‘Wasteland’, TALK put on a convincing and energetic evening, including the famous Croc kick.

His backing band was a tight unit and matched the energy in the venue, providing an exciting performance on stage – notably lead guitarist, Connor Riddle, shredding enthusiastically between choruses.

As the evening continued, TALK offered to do a request from the crowd.

While there were a couple of stipulations (and yes, we fully expect to see TALK perform ‘Freebird’ in an arena one day), he played classic rock tracks like ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ and ‘Sweet Child of Mine’.

Continuing the set, he performed ‘Hollywood’ and by the end of the track, it turned into a medley of covers including ‘Joker and the Thief’, ‘Everlong’ and ‘The Middle’.

It was fantastic and the crowd was in full participation.

He finished off with ‘Afraid of the Dark’ followed by an epic jam session with the band.

He concluded the set with the fully anticipated mega hit ‘Run Away to Mars’ as the encore.

Topping off the night, he continued with a cover of ‘Through the Fire and Flames’.

TALK told the crowd “Why not hit off the night with the hardest song you can play on guitar hero”.

Those under 20 years old and over 50 may not understand, however, lead guitarist Connor had no problems rising to the challenge while TALK played alongside on his own guitar hero plastic guitar.

TALK turned the minutes into a memorable experience at London Music Hall.

Delivering a performance that was larger than life, he entertained the crowd with his infectious charisma and powerful voice.

The Canadian sensation has shown that there is no slowing down.

There is no doubt that one day TALK will be filling arenas the next time he comes around.
