Pearl Jam brought their 2024 Dark Matter tour to Portland, Oregon, on Friday, May 10, 2024, performing their third show of the tour at the Moda Center.
The band debuted the 7th track from their new album ‘Waiting For Stevie’, which was the only remaining song from the album they had yet to play.
Before closing out their set with Dark Matter’s closing number ‘Setting Sun’, the Seattle rockers performed the ‘Momma-Son’ trilogy in succession.
The trio of songs, ‘Once’, ‘Alive’ and ‘Footsteps’, were the three songs Eddie Vedder had recorded vocals on and sent the tape back to Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard in the early 1990’s, which was the spark that initially formed the band.
