Alternative rock band Dogstar hits The Colosseum stage at Caesars Windsor on Thursday, August 22 at 8 p.m., for their only Canadian date on their current tour.
Formed in 1991, Dogstar’s current trio features guitarist and vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse, and bassist Keanu Reeves.
Since the release of their first EP, Quattro Formaggi, the group has epitomized the quintessential Southern California storytelling rock band, and has continued to make deeply resonant music that literally comes from Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees.
Nearly a quarter century after the release of 2000’s Happy Ending, Dogstar reformed, taking a great creative leap forward and establishing a new path with their latest release Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees.
The album includes the single “Everything Turns Around,” in addition to notable tracks including “Breach” and “Blonde.”
The band is performing across the United States and Europe this year, and will be wrapping of their current set of show at the Ohana Music Festival in Dana Point, California on September 27, 2024, on the same bill at Pearl Jam.
