Nashville punk rock band Winona Fighter tore it up on the Decibel Stage at Louder Than Life on Sunday, September 29, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky.
“All business this weekend… funny business that is,” the band shared on social media, alongside some fun backstage photos at the festival.
Photographer Daniel Rojas captured these images from their performance:
Winona Fighter is breathing new life into the resurgent punk scene, with a mission to create music that is accessible and accepting to all listeners.
Frontwoman Coco’s introduction to the Boston punk rock scene at an early age was a key influence on her sound and stage presence.
After moving to Nashville, she set out to expose music lovers to the power of thrashable tunes.
She recruited lead guitarist Dan Fuson, and together they worked to honor the scene Coco had left behind.
Eventually, bassist and producer Austin Luther joined the band.
Known for their high-energy live performances, Winona Fighter creates a space where egos are left at the door—everyone is welcome, equal, and expected to get on their feet.
The band has opened for Incubus and Motion City Soundtrack and played multiple sets at Bonnaroo 2023.
Upcoming tour dates include performances at Is For Lovers Festival and ShipRocked 2024.
