Project MishraM is a progressive Carnatic fusion band from Bangalore, India.

MishraM uses a sharp blend of Western genres, including modern progressive metal, djent, funk, jazz and electronic, all centered around the intricacies of Ragas, syncopation, and math-oriented grooves in Indian classical music.

To put it simply: it’s like nothing you’ve ever heard before.

MishraM has toured across the United Kingdom and Europe several times, earning critical acclaim at the world famous UK Tech Fest and ArcTanGent Festivals.

They have shared the stage with some of the biggest artists in progressive metal including Leprous, Vildhjarta, Monuments, Heilung, Haken, and Devin Townsend.

Their debut album Meso was nominated for best debut album by Progspace Awards.

The major festival gig comes through Berklee’s Popular Music Institute (BPMI), which gives artists performance experience and prepares them for the evolving music landscape.

Students also gain experience at each festival handling on-site promotion, production and tour management.
