18-year-old guitar phenom Grace Bowers brought her insanely talented chops, along with the Hodge Podge band, to Innings Festival 2025 on Saturday, February 22.
After going viral during the pandemic posting videos of her guitar playing, and releasing her debut album ‘Wine On Venus’ last year, the Nashville-based musician is quickly rising toward superstardom.
Her prowess was on full display during her Innings Fest set in Tempe, Arizona.
If you closed your eyes during her set, you’d envision a seasoned guitar virtuoso on stage, bending the guitar strings producing sounds reminiscent of a smoky Bourbon Street bar or a lively Nashville honky-tonk.
When the Innings Fest audience opened their eyes, they saw the wild, golden locks of Bowers producing the magical and jaw-dropping music.
“How are ya’ll feeling? Is it hot out there? A little bit?” Bowers asked the audience.
Following their show on the Home Plate stage, Bowers and her band performed a stripped-down set on the small Jersey Mike’s Subs stage in the middle of the festival grounds, which drew a crowd of over 100 fans, eager to experience the intimate pop-up performance up close.
Bowers called the set a “homerun.”
“It was amazing connecting with fans in such a cool setting,” Bowers said on social media.
“Can’t wait to do it again soon.”

Bowers has been recognized for her talents, having recently been presented with the Variety Next Gen award at their annual Hitmakers event in Los Angeles. She also won Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards, made her Grand Ole Opry debut on her eighteenth birthday, and was named a U.S. Global Music Ambassador by the U.S. Department of State and YouTube’s Global Music Diplomacy Initiative.
