BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville artist Madeline Merlo blends a crystalline country voice with vivid, emotionally insightful songwriting.

Hailing from small-town British Columbia, she grew up on a mix of classic soul, ‘90s country, and powerhouse vocals.

A platinum-certified #1 songwriter, Merlo got her start early—writing songs at 16, signing a record deal at 18, and winning the CCMA Rising Star Award in 2015.

She rose to prominence after winning NBC’s Songland with “Champagne Night,” which became a chart-topping hit for Lady A.

Named to CMT’s 2024 Next Women of Country, Merlo’s new EP One House Down (from the girl next door) offers a heartfelt message of self-worth, featuring the standout track “Broken Heart Thing” with Dustin Lynch.
