The third and final day of Corona Capital 2025 brought another picture-perfect day to Mexico City, with music filling every corner of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. SWOMP was on the ground once again, cameras in hand, capturing standout sets across the festival.
Jerry Cantrell
Touring behind his latest solo release I Want Blood, Jerry Cantrell delivered a mix of new material and Alice in Chains staples on the Doritos Stage. “You guys look amazing and you sound even better,” he told the audience. Cantrell’s steady, unhurried rock approach pulled longtime fans in with a wave of nostalgia.
AFI
California rockers AFI lit up the main stage with a high-energy performance in front of a packed crowd. Frontman Davey Havok commanded the space, shifting between baritone weight and piercing punk screams as he worked every inch of the stage.
James
“This is a song about the fucking chaos going on across North America,” frontman Tim Booth told the crowd before James launched into their 2018 track Heads. The Manchester veterans delivered a run of hits spanning their ’90s breakthrough and beyond, earning an enthusiastic response from the Mexico City audience.
TV on the Radio
Brooklyn’s TV on the Radio — Tunde Adebimpe, Dave Sitek, Kyp Malone and Jaleel Bunton — continued their return to the stage with a focused, groove-driven set. The band’s current run of shows, which began in September 2024 after a five-year hiatus, has reaffirmed their place as one of indie rock’s most inventive acts.
