The Fray delivered a blazing afternoon set under the Arizona sun at the Innings Festival.
“Innings, how we feeling out there?” frontman Joe King called out.
“It’s great to be back in Arizona feeling this sun with you. We are alive and we’re here. Thank God for music.”
After hyping up each band member with energetic introductions, King took things a step further — leaving the stage and heading into the crowd during a performance of “Hurricane.”
With microphone in hand, he moved deep into the audience, high-fiving and hugging fans along the way.
“What do we have here?” he asked one fan. “Thanks for coming.”
King made his way from one side of the crowd to the other before returning to the stage to finish the set.
The Fray are set to release a new album, A Light That Waits, on March 13, 2026, and will follow it with an extensive tour across the United States and Canada running from May through September.
