The Q&A with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company was the final piece added to ‘Issue Zero’ of SWOMP Magazine.
The band had just been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and, working with his publicist Kymm, we were able to connect with Paul – the only Canadian inducted this year – and talk a bit more about Bad Company’s legacy, his career, the Hall of Fame experience and more.
“My discovery of Otis Redding, Muddy Waters, Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, Ray Charles and so many other blues and soul greats then trying to emulate them, has taken me on a long road to reaching out and hopefully touching people where it counts, in the heart,” Paul said.
Paul’s wife Cynthia was also kind enough to share some amazing photos we could use in the piece as well – including the one you see with this post of Paul’s great niece Charlotte presenting him with his Hall of Fame statue – some brilliant behind-the-scenes moments of Bad Company’s legendary frontman.
All the photos and the full Q&A can be found in pages of ‘Issue Zero’ of SWOMP Magazine.
For all Bad Company and Paul Rodgers fans, it’s a nice read!
