Cypress Hill fittingly took over the Green Stage at Sick New World, bringing its signature West Coast sound to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds with a set that leaned into both legacy and what’s next.
The placement wasn’t lost on fans, as the veteran hip-hop group – long associated with cannabis culture – drew a strong crowd for one of the festival’s more ironic stage pairings.
The performance comes as Cypress Hill prepares to release a new album, Dios Bendiga, on July 24, marking its first full-length project in more than four years and the group’s first album recorded entirely in Spanish.
Frontman B-Real has described the record as a return to the band’s roots, calling it “a prayer for our culture” and a way to reconnect more directly with its Latin fanbase.
Created during a short series of sessions led by percussionist Eric Bobo, the album blends the group’s established West Coast foundation with new influences, including contributions from DJ Lord and a range of Latin rap artists spanning multiple generations.
The lead single, “Campeones,” features original member Mellow Man Ace and serves as an early look at the project’s direction, mixing English and Spanish lyrics while reflecting on the group’s history.
Cypress Hill is also set to perform at Rock The Runway in London, Ontario on Sept. 17, 2026 alongside headliner Limp Bizkit.
