Bring Me The Horizon pushes crowd to the limit at Sick New World

Bring Me The Horizon delivered a commanding set on the Purple Stage at Sick New World, with frontman Oli Sykes repeatedly pushing the Las Vegas crowd to raise the intensity.

“Are we alive out there? Fucking show me then. I need some circle pits,” Sykes said early in the set. “Mother fuck is up with you lot? Are you fucking serious? Is that it? Bigger. Bigger.”

As the performance continued, he kept pressing the audience.

“We gotta wake the fuck up. Are you with me? Open this shit up. Pull the fucking tampon out,” he said. “Do you know what mosh pits are in Las Vegas? That’s shite. Push it fucking back.”

The Sheffield, U.K., band brought its blend of heavy riffs, electronics and large-scale production to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, continuing its global touring cycle behind its POST HUMAN era.

Bring Me The Horizon will bring that live show back to Canada later this year with POST HUMAN: NeX GEn – The Third Ascension Program, a eight-date run across Canada, plus a stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The tour will mark a return to select Western Canadian cities for the first time in nearly 15 years, with support from Motionless in White and The Plot in You.
