Evanescence took over the Green Stage at Sick New World with a set that included the live debut of a new song, “Who Will You Follow.”
“It’s an honor to be back,” frontwoman Amy Lee told the Las Vegas audience.
“Oh my goodness, we haven’t been on stage for a few months and I forgot how good it fucking feels. Thank-you for coming out today.”
Lee added: “To come together and celebrate music with so many amazing artists, this is what feels right. This is the only thing that feels fucking right.”
The performance at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds comes as the band continues work tied to its next album, Sanctuary, offering fans an early glimpse of the new material.
“This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it,” Lee stated prior to the Vegas show.
“It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself now! I’ve been completely obsessed. I’m dying for the fans to hear this.”
The album is set to drop on June 5, 2026, followed by tour stops in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
