Knocked Loose delivered an intense performance at Sick New World, bringing relentless energy and a full-throttle set to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
The Kentucky band leaned into its reputation for ferocious live shows, encouraging mosh pits and crowd surfers throughout a set that rarely let up.
A highlight came with the live debut of “Hive Mind,” a new track featuring rapper Denzel Curry. The collaboration marks a rare crossover between hardcore and hip-hop, with frontman Bryan Garris previously noting the idea had been in the works for some time.
“This is something we’ve talked about doing for a long time,” Garris said of the track. “In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.”
Released earlier this year, “Hive Mind” arrives alongside a music video co-directed by Garris and Eric Richter, filmed in the band’s hometown of Louisville, Ky.
The single follows Knocked Loose’s 2024 album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which drew widespread critical praise and included the Grammy-nominated track “Suffocate” featuring Poppy.
Formed in 2014, the band has steadily built a following through its aggressive sound and uncompromising approach, evolving across releases including Laugh Tracks and A Different Shade of Blue.
Knocked Loose is set to continue a busy year of touring, including festival appearances and select dates supporting Metallica and Bring Me The Horizon.
