My Chemical Romance brought its acclaimed The Black Parade 2026 tour to Detroit’s Comerica Park on Friday, Aug. 21, delivering a theatrical stadium spectacle celebrating the 20th anniversary of the band’s landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.
The Detroit show featured special guest Iggy Pop and marked one of the North American stops on the band’s massive anniversary tour, which follows the era-defining Long Live: The Black Parade run.
The Black Parade 2026 tour spans North America, the UK and Europe, with additional dates in South America and Southeast Asia, as well as appearances at major U.S. festivals including Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple and Louder Than Life.
The North American leg began Aug. 9 at New York City’s Citi Field and will conclude Oct. 24 following a three-night run at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl. Other hand-selected special guests on the North American dates include Franz Ferdinand, Pierce The Veil, Modest Mouse, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Jimmy Eat World and The Mars Volta.
The tour celebrates two decades of The Black Parade, an album that helped cement My Chemical Romance as one of the defining rock bands of the 2000s.
