Silversun Pickups brought fresh material to the stage during their afternoon set at the Innings Festival.
The LA alt-rockers performed several songs from their seventh studio album Tenterhooks, released earlier this month via New Machine Recordings.
In total, the band played four tracks from the new record: ‘Au Revoir Reservoir, ‘Long Gone,’ ‘New Wave’ and ‘The Wreckage,’ which they restarted mid-performance.
The group also recently released a music video for ‘Au Revoir Reservoir,’ directed by Suzie Vlček.
“There was already a lot of aggression and loudness, so we thought it would be cool to paint with some other paints,” frontman Brian Aubert said.
“I’m glad ‘Au Revoir Reservoir’ is on the record. It opens everything up a little more. It’s a different color.”
The band is currently touring the album across the United States and Canada through May.
