Ludacris, born Christopher Brian Bridges on September 11, 1977, is an American rapper, actor, and entrepreneur.

Ludacris began his musical journey in Atlanta, Georgia, where he gained local recognition as a radio DJ.

His talent and passion for music led him to release his debut album, “Incognegro,” independently in 1999.

However, it was his major-label debut, “Back for the First Time” in 2000, that catapulted him into mainstream success.

The album featured the hit single “What’s Your Fantasy,” which showcased Ludacris’ witty wordplay and infectious energy.

Following the success of his debut, Ludacris released a string of critically acclaimed albums. “Word of Mouf” (2001) and “Chicken-n-Beer” (2003), “The Red Light District” (2004) and “Release Therapy” (2006), which earned him multiple Grammy Awards.

Throughout his career, Ludacris has collaborated with artists like Usher, Missy Elliott, and Justin Bieber, which have resulted in chart-topping hits.

Apart from his music, Ludacris has also ventured into acting.

He has appeared in several films, including the “Fast & Furious” franchise, where he plays the role of Tej Parker.

Ludacris founded the record label Disturbing tha Peace (DTP) in 2000, which has launched the careers of artists like Chingy and Bobby V.
