Primed for a busy year of touring in 2024, The Smashing Pumpkins are looking to add a new member to their band.
“The Smashing Pumpkins are searching for an additional guitarist,” the band posted on social media on January 5, 2024.
“The application process is open to anyone who might be interested. Applicants may submit a resume and related materials to: SPGuitar@redlightmanagement.com.”
The opening in the band’s lineup stems from an announcement back in October, when longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder announced he was leaving:

Back in October, the Pumpkins announced they’d be touring the United Kingdom and Ireland with Weezer in 2024, starting in June.
They will also be an opening act on Green Day’s ‘The Saviors Tour’, which will be performing in stadiums across the United States from July until the end of September. This will include a stop at Comerica Park in Detroit on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Ticket details, here.
