The time has finally come for rocker Jager Henry to break out of his family’s illustrious shadow.
As the son of Jason Bonham and grandson of John Bonham, music flows deep within Jager’s veins.
That is never more apparent than on his debut EP, HEART OF THORNS, out now via Bornsad Records.
The 8-track EP is the perfect launching pad to introduce Jager to the world, combining numerous musical influences including rock, metal, and alternative.
After having his performance at Louder Than Life cancelled the day before, due to rain and high winds, Henry got the call and was added to the bill inside the Kroger Big Bourbon Bar on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
The crowd was packed in for the performance, as Henry bounded around the stage, jumped into the crowd and fist bumped a small boy watching in the front row.
After his performance, he encouraged the crowd to gather in for a group photo.
“Smile like your happier than a motherfucker,” Henry told the audience.
“I fuckin’ love you, Louisville.”

Henry’s debut single “Heart of Thorns” Feat. Lil Lotus is currently moving up the Active Rock radio charts and is an early add on SiriusXM’s Octane.
The next focus track, “Bite Down,” has been making waves on Spotify’s Hard Rock playlist and Apple’s New In Rock playlist.
A music video for the song will be released in the near future.

Jager Henry will be bringing the HEART OF THORNS EP to the masses once again when he also performs at the upcoming Aftershock (October 13) festival this year.
Following a successful opening run with his father’s JBLZE (Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening) where he won over the audience nightly with his energetic live performances, Jager has announced he will once again join JBLZE on the road from December 8th – 16th .
