Winona Fighter on their forthcoming album ‘My Apologies To The Chef’, 2025 tour, plus a spot at the Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona

Nashville punk rockers Winona Fighter have a massive year in store in 2025.

After releasing the single ‘R U FAMOUS’ on January 10, 2025, the band is about a month away from releasing their latest full-length album ‘My Apologies To The Chef’ on February 14, 2025.

SWOMP caught up with front-woman Coco, guitarist Dan Fuson and bass player/producer Austin Luther to discuss the new music and their 2025 tour, which includes a Friday, February 21, 2025 spot at the Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona.

SWOMP saw the band tear it up on the Decibel Stage at Louder Than Life on Sunday, September 29, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Photographer Daniel Rojas captured these images from their performance:

Winona Fighter is breathing new life into the resurgent punk scene, with a mission to create music that is accessible and accepting to all listeners.

Frontwoman Coco’s introduction to the Boston punk rock scene at an early age was a key influence on her sound and stage presence.

After moving to Nashville, she set out to expose music lovers to the power of thrashable tunes.

She recruited lead guitarist Dan Fuson, and together they worked to honor the scene Coco had left behind.

Eventually, bassist and producer Austin Luther joined the band.

Known for their high-energy live performances, Winona Fighter creates a space where egos are left at the door—everyone is welcome, equal, and expected to get on their feet.

The band has opened for Incubus and Motion City Soundtrack and played multiple sets at Bonnaroo 2023.

Upcoming tour dates include performances at Is For Lovers Festival and ShipRocked 2024.
