The band’s latest release, Better Now, was recorded alongside its companion album Never Better in Joshua Tree, Calif., with producer Gabe Wax, and reflects the group’s personal and creative growth through the challenges of life in their twenties.

Formed after Khalid Yassein and Devan Glover met at Queen’s University in Kingston in 2013, the band later expanded with multi-instrumentalist Andrew Oliver.

Since releasing its debut in 2016, Wild Rivers has earned Platinum and Gold certifications, a 2023 JUNO Award nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year, and a 2025 JUNO nomination for Adult Alternative Album of the Year for Never Better.

The group has also toured extensively alongside acts including The Chicks, The Head and the Heart and Noah Kahan.
